This is the age of data science, big data, machine learning and you name it all. But after mechanical engineering, the choice is a little uncommon. You must have a knack for numbers. You must also justify your choice to the universities as to why this course. Apart from this you must have a brilliant academic percentile, excellent projects, letters of recommendation, certifications, etc.

You are not eligible for M.Sc in Chemistry. You can do M.Tech. /ME in Chemical engineering. If you want to M.Sc in maths, then you are eligible because it is necessary to study the subject at least for 2 years/4semesters in which you want to do Master's degree. In B.Tech Mechanical, a student studies Maths in 2 years but, he studies chemistry only for 1 year /1 semester.

You need to talk to the admission department though I have seen a lot of lateral entries in the college.

I'll prefer you to opt for Sharda University as this is far better than that of Dayananda Sagar College in all the terms whether it is placements, faculty or the infrastructure, Sharda beats it in all.

Yes, of course you should learn Japnese, if possible to grow your career. Engineers from the city often have opportunities, make work trips to Japan and vice versa. Knowing the native language of a country is always an advantage, as it helps you connect well with these people. The company gives you an interpreter, but you can connect better with people, if you know the language. Besides, a lot of authorities from Japan come to visit their firms here, and if you know the language, you can interact properly with them too. While school and college students opt to learn French and German languages, Japanese is catching up steadily. It was

This number of backlogs won't be accepted. Even if a college does accept, visa rejection rate is very high. You can try some other country, check UK, Netherlands, France, Australia etc.

No, an MS in Canada is definitely not better than that in US. Pay packages may be similar, but the job opportunities are limited in Canada. Even though Canada requires a lot of foreign skilled labour, unemployment rate is slightly more in Canada. Canadian dollar is 30% less valued than US dollar hence the package is on the downside. Population density is 4 person per square km against 34 in US (its 410 in India). If you like a life of solitude you may go to Canada. On an average, Canadian winter is a bit colder than US winter. Top 3 in Canada is better than top 20-40 in US. There is a lot more to weigh in than pay and opportunities.

See, the best college in both of then is VVP as this college is best in terms of placements, infra, students to teachers ratio and also the faculty of this college is quite better than the MEFGI. Also, VVP has world-class labs and there is no lack of equipment.
