CITD Hyderabad, Brijlal Biyani Science college, Savitribai Phule University are the colleges that provide PGD in mechatronics and as such there are no specific exams for this course but may be required to pass the entrance exam common for all the courses.

Each state and their universities follow their own norms for admissions. Even private colleges have their own entrance tests. Similarly the deemed universities follow their own procedures. Hence you should select the college and follow the mode of admissions of that affiliated university.

Minimum Eligibility to Apply is a pass mark of 45% in class 12 with Mandatory Subjects : Physics, Mathematics.
Along with compulsory subjects candidate must have one of the following subjects namely Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

Yes, you have to appear for JEE because through that only, you would get good colleges for B.Tech mechanical engineering and get the knowledge and right skills for the same.
In M.Tech level, you have to choose specialisation like Mechatronics, robotics or you can think of aerospace too.
