Mechatronics Engineering is a course you need to do, only if you are really into robotics and other mechanical aspects. The need for Mechatronics Engineers are increasing. The main advantage of pursuing Mechatronics Engineering is that you get to cover Mechanical, Electrical and computer Engineering, In my point of view this can set you up in a good firm with a good salary. If you are confused between taking Mechatronics Engineering and Computer Engineering with AI and ML. I would say to take Mechatronics Engineering as your degree programme and to do Computer Engineering with AI and ML as a certification degree or Post Graduation programme. Take your time, look into everything yourself and select the programme that suits you

Hello Seem, I can understand your anxiety and angst of getting a job after completion of your Diploma in engineering. However Diploma is considered as a skill imparting education and invariably no big companies come for placements unlike when they do for graduation students. Due to this the data about placements of the students is not available since students have to apply individually to different industries for getting a job and centralised database is unfortunately not available. But considering the progress that our country is achieving in industrial production I am sure that three years from now when we will complete your Diploma there will be plenty full opportunities for you to get job.
