You can join an engineering college by appearing in the entrance exams of AIEEE, IIT JEE, etc. through (10+2) entry. However, if you do not pass the exams or get low ranks in the entrances then you will have to lookout for the colleges offering direct admission:
1. KCC Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida
2. Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, Kanpur
3. Bharat Institute of Technology (Engineering Institute), Meerut
4. Krishna Engineering College, Ghaziabad

It is very nice to hear from you that you are interested in the mechatronics branch of engineering even though you have just appeared for your class 12th. Let me first congratulate you for deciding your aim as to what you want to become in your life. This can be termed as almost half the battle won. Mechatronics as branch has made its appearance only recently but it has found many takers in the industry. There are plenty of colleges, in fact almost all the colleges offering this branch for regular course also offer lateral admission in this course. However, a word of caution. Lateral admissions are invariably restricted to the students of the home state only for government colleges or government aided colleges. Unaided colleges of course take students from all over India basis and also, deemed universities also take students from all India basis. So no need to worry.
