Hi, first of all decide what to study and where. After a Diploma you have to complete your Bachelor's degree for further studies later. Automotive study, car body design, manufacturing, product design, robotics etc. Are some specialized fields. Determine your interests first. Secondly the admission requirements which differ from campus to campus. SAT IELTS or TOEFL etc. are some common standardized tests for studying abroad.

Hi, You can try both, if in India IITs are the best. If you have very good academic percentile, a strong profile and finance is also not an issue you can consider trying abroad. Gaining international experience is very important. Universities abroad also are more into practical and hands on training.

These branches are the advanced version of the traditional branches in the nanotechnology. You will get to know how you can make more compatible products that are used in day to day life. In automobile engineering, you will get to know more about the vehicles and there more compactness.

I'll prefer you to opt for the automobile engineering, as this branch has better scope than mechatronics as well as the pack of automobile branch is far better than this branch in SRM.
