Hello Arunachalam!
It is definitely a good choice and a better place to learn mechatronics engineering in Chennai.
It has its own industry which makes most part of your learning practical and easy to grasp them too.
You can have a better knowledge regarding robotics and automation at CIT with good placements too.
All the best!

Hello Rao,
My personal opinion is that graduation in mechatronics would be a better option. Though of course, aeronautical engineering is equally good. But I feel there would be fewer jobs in this branch in near term.

Hello Arunachalam,
The best college for mechatronics in Tamil Nadu is PSG Technology, Coimbatore. So if you want to get a seat there through counseling, you need to have a cut-off of 196 and above (general category) or 190 and above for other categories.
All the best.
