Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, the opening rank for HBT Medical College And Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital cutoff was 4722 and closing rank was 15131. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in HBT Medical College And Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College And Hospital has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 10628. In 2022, it decreased to 879. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 14847 to 1966 for OBC, 97480 to 11111 for SC, 92656 to 37471 for ST, 12425 to 1479 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for medical education in India continues to grow.
