Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 5614 and closing rank was 17948. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For 2022, cut off was 17948 for General category candidates in All India quota for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital. NEET cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The cutoff trend for medical Courses at JSS Medical College, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 18520. In 2022, it increased to 166390. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 16784 to 19041 for OBC, 94513 to 19041 for SC, 104473 to 19041 for ST, 17266 to 19041 for EWS, 730916 to 19041 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for medical education in India continues to grow.

JSS Medical College, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research will release 4-5 rounds of NEET cutoffs for admission to medical courses. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:The NEET score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

For last year, the closing rank for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) was 166390 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in JSS Medical College, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at JSS Medical College, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research other than General category are - 19041 for OBC, 19041 for SC, 19041 for ST, 19041 for EWS, 19041 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State.

In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 18125. In 2022, it decreased to 1069. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 18411 to 2130 for OBC, 94351 to 18318 for SC, 95745 to 50444 for ST, 14397 to 1773 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for medical education in India continues to grow.
