For last year, the closing rank for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) was 15896 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in M S Ramaiah Medical College.

Candidates must first be eligible to take the CBSE-conducted National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET). Second, they need to get a minimum cumulative NEET of 50%. The annual variation in the minimum score required for admission to KMC Manipal is due to various factors such as the level of difficulty of the exam, the volume of applicants, and the availability of seats.
