Yes, NEET is mandatory for entry into MBBS, BDS, and other similar medical courses offered at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. However, for other courses such as BSc Nursing or BPT, NEET is not a requirement. Make sure you satisfy all the course-specific eligibility criteria.

No, candidates cannot join Sri Ramakrishna Dental College and Hospital without NEET for BDS. As the institute is entirely government and there is no direct admission or donation type admission so, you have to clear NEET-UG and clear the required cutoff to apply for counselling process.

However, the NEET cutoff fluctuates annually depending on category, state, and competition if your goal is to specialize in anesthesia through an MBBS route. A score above 550–600 is usually competitive for government colleges for candidates in the general category. The cutoff may be lower, between 400 and 550, for reserved categories. If you're unable to renew your EWS certificate for NEET 2024, you should contact the relevant authority in your state, typically the district collector or a designated office for issuing EWS certificates. Explain your situation and seek an alternative solution. In some cases, you may be allowed to submit a declaration or affidavit in place of the certificate. Keep track of official updates regarding document submission deadlines.

As a candidate from the SC category you have a chance of being admitted to government medical colleges based on factors like state quota seats or the All India Quota (AIQ) if your NEET score is between 300 and 400. If your score falls within the 40th percentile cutoff for SC students you are qualified for counselling. In 2024, the qualifying cutoff for SC applicants was between 127 and 161 marks.Your ranking may affect your eligibility because higher-ranked government universities frequently require scores closer to 400. Additionally as cutoffs vary by jurisdiction taking part in the state quota counselling may increase chances
