Candidates can calculate their estimated score by adding four marks for each correct answer and deducting one mark for each wrong answer by comparing their NEET response sheets and answer keys. The detailed marking scheme is given below:

NEET 2024 exam date was announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on September 19. The exam will be held on May 5, 2024. NTA announced the NEET 2024 exam date along with other top entrance exams such as JEE Main 2024, CUET UG 2024, UGC NEET 2024, etc. Hence, it is considered that NTA has decided the date after much deliberation. NTA released the exam date after assessing a number of factors such as Board exam schedule, other entrance exams, impact on academic calendar, etc. It is unlikely that the NEET 2024 exam date will change. The NEET 2024 exam date will only change in case of an unavoidable situation.

No, NTA will not postpone NEET 2023. Even though a number of candidates are requesting the exam authorities to postpone the date, NTA or the MHRD has not responded to the requests or announced any decision regarding this. Over the past two years, NEET exam date has been delayed owing to the pandemic situation, which has affected the overall academic calendar. To bring back normalcy, NTA has scheduled NEET UG 2023 in May, similar to the pre-pandemic era after much brainstorming and assessing other entrance exam dates. Moreover, since the application process is underway, it is unlikely that the NEET 2023 exam date will be postponed now.

The NEET UG 2023 admit card is expected to be released a week prior to the exam date, which is the first week of May. In general, NTA releases the admit card three to four days prior to the exam. The advance intimation to exam city slip has been released on April 30, ahead of the NEET admit card release. It is a document which states the exam city in which candidate's centre is located in.

According to NTA a candidate can appear for NEET any number of times. There is no restriction on the number of attempts permitted. Moreover, ever since the upper age limit of NEET has been removed, there is even more flexibility in terms of the number of NEET attempts. The exam is conducted once a year, hence candidates can appear only once in an academic year. But unless candidates fulfil the eligibility criteria, they would not be able to get admission even if they score the qualifying cutoff marks for NEET.

NEET 2023 syllabus has remained the same as that last year. NEET UG syllabus is same as that of the Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus hence it is not much difficult for students to complete or understand. The complete syllabus of NEET 2023 has been released by NTA along with the information brochure.
