Yes, the National Medical Commission's (NMC) guidelines that fees for at least 50% of seats in private colleges should be at par with the fees of the government medical college (GMC) of the state are applicable in Odisha. NMC had directed private colleges to ensure that the fee for the 50% of seats is on par with the fee at the government medical college of that particular state and UT. Recently, the Government of Odisha issued a notice to the private medical colleges in the state regarding the proposed fee structure for MBBS and asked them to submit their proposals to adhere to these guidelines.

With a 9576 NEET rank, you may not get admission into AIIMS Mangalagiri. AIIMS Mangalagiri generally has a higher admission cutoff and in the final round of 2021 had a closing rank of around 6544 for the OBC category. With a score of 285, it is less likely that you will get admission to any government Ayurvedic college via the All India Quota. This is because to get admission in the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A. M. S. ) in the All India Quota, one has to score more than 350 in the NEET UG. You do have few chances to get government Ayurvedic college in state quota. For instance, you may get admission to Swami Kalyandev Government Ayurved College in Uttar Pradesh if you have a UP State home quota. Alternatively, you may apply to private colleges like Dr. Rajendra Gode Ayurved College and Hospital in Maharashtra.

The candidate category is mean the candidate (Student) is belonging to categories such as General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and PWD. One college has a total of 100 seats which are allocated by a certain percentage, the first 40 seats for general (any one category can get that seat), 41- 60 for OBC, 61- 70 for EWS, 71-80 for SC, 81- 90 for ST, 91-95, PWD- 95-100. If the EWS student got 12 the rank, he/she can be allotted a general category seat which means EWS is the candidate category and the general seat is the allotted category for the s
