Hello Dear,
Its very very less predictable that you can get admission to any medical courses anywhere in India with a score of 170. For Private college BDS also your score needs to be around 250.
Hope this helps!

Aspirants seeking to pursue super specialty Doctorate of Medicine (DM); Master of Surgery (MCh) and Post Doctoral Certificate (PDCC) courses must go through NEET-SS.
I guess no you don't have to but still it depends upon the College you want to apply if they consider it then you have to go through it.
All the best!

Hello Dear,
For admission into government medical colleges, your score should not less than 450 for the general category if you are expecting MBBS. Below this score, you can get government BDS and privates.

You don't need to get dejected as you have not qualified it. You can try the next year if you can. I have seen many who have failed in first time but scored really well in second time.
But if you plan to study for the next year then join a good coaching center. So it will be of immense help to you.
Then, you can also go for medical related studies like b.sc biotechnology, etc. and while doing so you can write NEET.
If you decide not to, then try for other medical courses like veterinary science, B.Sc, etc. which may give you a good job, may be as a teacher or a lab specialist.

The advantages are: You don't need to burden yourself in studying for NEET, means they will give you periodical tests so that you can revise your chapters often instead of studying them like a new one. You will also get a good guidance for NEET in clearing the concepts and you may also learn solving techniques.
The disadvantages are: You need to focus on both your board exams and NEET (if you are in 12th). So you need to balance both. You also need to learn for both simultaneously with full focus and concentration without losing anything.

Joining a coaching centre for NEET exam is actually depends on you only. As the questions in NEET are based on general concepts of physics, chemistry and biology it is enough if you can learn by yourself.
But if you join a coaching centre you will be getting more practice in solving problems and they might help you in clearing the doubts regarding the concepts.
So if you have a good coaching centre near your home, you can join there.
But the only thing is, your contribution matters a lot.
