The hostel fee is about ?5,000 per month at Thanjavur Medical College. This amount will cover the accommodation and basic amenities in most hostels. Please note that additional charges may be applicable for items such as mess charges, security deposit, or other facilities. It is always a good idea to find out about the latest and detailed fee structure from the college administration, as these amounts may change with time.

Yes, NEET is mandatory for Indian students seeking admission to MBBS programs in Russia. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a mandatory entrance exam for medical courses in India, and it's also recognised by many foreign universities, including those in Russia. Even though other standardised tests like English proficiency tests have been waived from the necessary requirements of MBBS in Russia, NEET continues to remain one of the essential exams for the same.

For that reason, as per the QS University World Rankings List and THE University World Rankings List of 2024, Harvard University and the University of Oxford are among the best medical universities in the world as both of these are placed at first positions in either of these rankings.
