Government medical colleges with the least NEET cutoff for ST candidates vary yearly based on exam difficulty, competition, and seat availability. Historically, Tamil Nadu and other states have reported lower cutoffs for ST candidates, with scores around 444-544 for All India and state quotas. Factors like regional demand and seat distribution influence these cutoffs. Candidates should regularly check updates from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Focus on key subjects like Biology, Physics, and Chemistry for the GNM nursing entrance exam at Government Medical Institute, Kolkata. These subjects are the fundamentals of the syllabus. English is also to be improved with regard to comprehension and grammar. General knowledge and current affairs are also sometimes included; therefore, being updated in them is a good practice. Practicing previous years' question papers and taking mock tests will familiarize you with the format of the exams and help improve your time management skills. So a well-rounded study plan over these areas will surely ensure success in the entrance exam.
