A BAMS doctor cannot directly practice as a gynecologist in modern medicine. However, they can specialize in "Stree Rog and Prasuti Tantra," which is the Ayurvedic branch focusing on women's health, pregnancy, and childbirth. To become a recognised gynecologist in modern allopathic medicine, one must complete an MBBS degree followed by an MD or DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology. That said, BAMS doctors with a postgraduate specialisation in Ayurvedic gynecology can offer treatments for women's health issues using Ayurvedic principles and are authorized to provide prenatal and postnatal care within their scope of practice.

Yes, a BAMS doctor is legally allowed to administer injections, provided they have the necessary training and follow the guidelines set by the Ministry of AYUSH. As part of their curriculum, BAMS students are trained in basic medical procedures, including administering injections, intravenous fluids, and vaccinations. They can give injections to patients as part of both Ayurvedic and certain allopathic treatments, especially in rural or primary healthcare settings. However, they must adhere to the regulations and scope of practice outlined by the state medical councils.

BHMS course graduates cannot directly switch to allopathic medicine or practice allopathic treatments without completing additional qualifications. While they are trained in homeopathy and can legally practice homeopathic medicine, their training does not include the study of conventional medicine. However, BHMS graduates can pursue further education in allopathic medicine by enrolling in an MBBS program, but this would require them to start from the beginning and complete the full course of study, including internships and licensing exams. As for pursuing an MD in other medical fields, BHMS graduates can apply, but they must meet the e

Homeopathy differs significantly from conventional (allopathic) medicine in its approach to treatment, diagnosis, and healing. While conventional medicine primarily focuses on treating symptoms and underlying causes of diseases using pharmaceutical drugs and surgical interventions, homeopathy operates on the principle of "like cures like," where highly diluted substances are used to stimulate the body's innate healing ability. Homeopathic remedies are tailored to the individual, considering not only physical symptoms but also emotional and psychological factors. Conventional medicine tends to follow a more scientific and evid

BPT course differs significantly from other medical courses like MBBS and Nursing in terms of scope, training, and career focus. MBBS is a medical degree that trains students to become doctors, enabling them to diagnose and treat various illnesses, perform surgeries, and prescribe medications. Nursing, on the other hand, is a healthcare profession that focuses on patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and supporting doctors in a clinical setting. BPT, in contrast, is a paramedical course that focuses on rehabilitation and physical therapy, where graduates work to improve mobility, reduce pain, a

No, BPT course graduates, also known as physiotherapists, are not qualified to prescribe medicine. Unlike medical doctors with an MBBS degree, physiotherapists focus on non-invasive treatments like rehabilitation, physical therapy, and pain management to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. While physiotherapists play a crucial role in improving mobility, strength, and overall physical function, they do not have the authority to prescribe medication or perform surgeries.
