No, BPT course graduates, also known as physiotherapists, are not qualified to prescribe medicine. Unlike medical doctors with an MBBS degree, physiotherapists focus on non-invasive treatments like rehabilitation, physical therapy, and pain management to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. While physiotherapists play a crucial role in improving mobility, strength, and overall physical function, they do not have the authority to prescribe medication or perform surgeries.

Yes, a Pharm D course graduate can open a medical store, provided they meet the necessary legal and regulatory requirements. In India, opening a Pharmacy or Medical store requires a valid pharmacy license issued by the state drug control authority. Pharm D course holders are qualified to run such businesses due to their expertise in medication management, drug therapy, and patient care. However, they must comply with the regulations surrounding the sale of medicines, including proper documentation, record-keeping, and adherence to local pharmacy laws.

Pharm D course graduates are not typically involved in the manufacturing of medicines. Their primary role revolves around the clinical aspects of pharmacy, such as medication therapy management, patient counselling, and ensuring the safe use of medications. However, they may work closely with pharmaceutical manufacturers to ensure the proper distribution and utilization of drugs. The actual process of creating medicines, including the formulation and production, is generally carried out by pharmaceutical scientists and chemists with specialised training in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
