The NEET exam date is decided by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body, on behalf of the Ministry of Education. NTA decides the NEET exam date after analysing several internal and external factors such as the previous year's exam date, Board exams and other entrance exam dates, elections, festivals, to name a few.

As per the previous years' trends, it is expected that the NEET 2025 dates will be scheduled in the same timeline as last year. So far, there has been one change observed this year. While last year NEET exam date was announced in September 2023, along with a common exam calendar, this year, the date has not been announced even till January 2025.
