Getting admission to the Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital (IMS and SUM) for MBBS with a mere score of 300 marks in NEET would be quite difficult considering the general cut-off marks for admission to medical colleges are usually much higher than that. Of course, the exact cut-off varies depending on the number of applicants and category-wise reservations. Thus, if you belong to a reserved category (for example, OBC, SC/ST), you would be granted better odds in such an instance. Check out the previous year's trends in cut-offs or directly contact the admission office of IMS and SUM for further details to get accurate informa

Under the OBC category with 420 marks score in NEET 2024, there are chances of getting admission to a government BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) college, but that would depend on various factors:-State Quota:- This is because Government BAMS colleges often have separate seats for State quota and All India Quota. The cut-off for a state quota may be lower as compared to the All India Quota. Therefore, applying under one's home state quota might increase the chances of being able to get a seat in a government BAMS college.Last Year's Cut-offs: There is a huge variation in cut-offs for BAMS courses depending on the respe

In light of your NEET score of 354 marks in the MBC category, the chances of being admitted to any medical college for MBBS would exist but it depends on various factors:Relaxation/Category wise: As you know, MBC will provide some relaxation in the cutoff in comparison to the general category, thereby increasing the chances of getting admission to several medical colleges.State Quota vs All India Quota: As far as it is concerned, admissions through the state quota have lower cutoffs as compared to those through the All India quota. If it is so that you apply for your home state, then you may stand a better chance.Type of Medical Colleg

So with marks around 550s in the NEET, one can expect some slight possibilities regarding admission into the MBBS program. Here are a few things on which conditions of admission depend: Category: The category you belong to (General, OBC, SC/ST etc.) matters a lot in deciding the cut-off for admission. For example, a score of 550 might be good enough for candidates belonging to made categories but for general candidates, it would mean much higher.State versus All India Quota: Cut off for a government college usually is lower under state quota than in the All India quota. In some states, it may be possible to get admission under the

No, it's unlikely that you'll be able to get a government MBBS seat with 480 marks in NEET, even if you belong to the SC category:  Marks requiredA score of 565 or higher is generally required to get into a government medical college.  RankWith 480 marks, your rank would likely be between 35,000 and 42,000, which is too low to get a government MBBS seat.  Minimum marksThe minimum marks required for MBBS in the SC category is 163–129, which is the 40th percentile.  Good scoreA score of 600 or higher is considered good, especially for SC/ST/PwD category candidates.  A score of 500–600

Yes, with 545 marks in the NEET exam, you may have a chance to get a government medical seat in India if you are in the OBC category: The minimum marks required for the OBC category in the NEET exam for MBBS is 163–129, which is in the 40th percentile. A score of 550–500 in the NEET exam may result in a rank of 1,44,000–2,09,000. You can use a NEET rank predictor tool to estimate your rank and identify medical colleges that are within your reach. The tool considers various factors, including your performance data, historical NEET data, and opening and closing ranks from the previous year's NEET counseling.

Well, acquiring a government BAMS seat in Madhya Pradesh with 360 marks in NEET is not much easier, just depends on many factors:Category: For having a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) status, you may have a pretty good chance because in these categories the cutoffs are normally lower than that for general category seats.State Quota :- Under the 85% state quota, the cutoffs are usually lower compared to the All India Quota. There might be some cutoffs in government AYUSH colleges in Madhya Pradesh, which could be around this score for BAMS because of the reservation categories.Cutoff of last year: The trend for BAMS cutoff for Madhya

Scoring a total of 410 marks in the NEET-2024, it really gets tougher to get through government medical colleges for an MBBS and BDS. In general category students, generally the cut-offs of Government medical colleges start from around 550 marks to 720 marks but for the students who belongs to reserved category, sometimes it is quite low still way above the score one has got here.Cutoffs in government medical colleges according to the latest updates differ highly between category and institute. The general category candidates cutoff would have usually been around marks over 600 whereas the cutoffs for SC/ST candidates may be from a min

Scoring 110/720 in NEET will make the candidate highly unlikely to be considered for a government BDS college. In general, trends indicate that candidates who are expected to score below or around 450 will most probably be at the periphery of government seat competition. Again, for the state of Tamil Nadu, cutoffs can be higher than that. The highest government dental colleges need much more scores than that above 110, sometimes in excess of 500 points to secure admission. Consequently, at this score now, you are very unlikely to get admission in any government BDS colleges. Private dental colleges are a possible option or some other c
