The average compensation package was 6.5 LPA.However, according to the NIRF 2022 report, MIET placements in 2021 involved a total of 607 undergraduate and 100 graduate students. JEE Mains scores, followed by UPTAC counseling, determine BTech admissions at Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET). The dates for UPTAC 2023 counseling for admission to different UG and PG courses have been made public by AKTU. The college BTech and MBA registration process is now complete. The choice-filling period for JEE Mains admission through UPTAC Round 1 Counseling is September 15–September 17, 2023. Additionally, the dates for round 1 choice filling for admissions through CUET UG 2023 & CUET PG 2023 are September 16–September 18, 2023.

The college gives admission based on the score in the JEE exam and the college also offers direct admission to students by filling out the application form at the portal or by visiting the admin block at the college. The cut-off for the JEE exam is usually based on rank and the closing rank for general category/Unreserved is 3,24,565 the admission is also given based on 12th grade under the management quota under which the candidate should have a minimum of 70 percent. While the students who have done Diploma can get lateral entry into the college in the second year.
