Being LPU alumni, I would recommend CSE from LPU. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware.
1 Placements: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. DURING PANDEMIC THE PLACEMENT 20202021 Cloud ERA has offered 31 Lacs Per annum (CSE) DURING 20192020 CODE NATION = 31 LPA.

Shillong Centre, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, (NIELIT Shillong) was established in 2009. This institute has a large campus area of 10 acre provided by State Government at Mawdiangdiang, currently, this institute sports a state-of-the-art training facility that envelopes computer labs, library and wi-fi enabled classrooms. The centre also provides customised short-term training courses in IT to Officials of Central/State Government.
