Hi,
It will be very difficult for you to get admission in IEM with this rank. Although, you will easily get a seat in Techno India for the branches like information technology, electronics and communications engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering etc. Best of luck.

Hi Kunal,
As your daughter has secured 160008 rank in JEE Mains exam in general category with the score of 86 percentile, so she is eligible for MSIT Janakpuri, but getting a seat will be difficult. Therefore, I will suggest you to participate in the counselling process wisely and smartly and wait until the last round of the counselling process.

Admission in MSIT is on the basis of IPUCET, not on the basis of JEE Mains. The rank secured in IPUCET determines that you will get admission in this institution or not.

Hi Hartej,
In my opinion, Sharda University would be a good option. I say this because firstly Sharda University is a popular college and surely to maintain it's image, it would try to provide you with good internships and jobs, moreover it would provide you a good environment and sufficiently good facilities like sports, hostels, internet connectivity, exchange programs, fests that would help you in your overall development during the 4 years of B.Tech. Lastly, I would say that college is not the main thing that matters, it is you, and how well you develop your skills and personality that matters. Hope it helps.
