Both Universities are well-known American Universities securing the rank of 170 and 151 respectively in 2024 among the National Universities according to the top-ranking publishers. Hence, one can tell that DePaul University holds a higher rank than Mercer University in terms of ranking. Mercer University offers various campuses such as Macon, Atlanta, Savanna, and Columbus. The Macon Campus is home to the School of Medicine, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, the School of Business along with programs of the College of Professional Advancement and the College of Health Professions. The Atlanta campus is home to the College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing, and College of Professional Advancement along with programs of the School of Business and College of Education. The Savannah Campus is home to the four-year M.D. programme in the School of Medicine and so is the Columbus Campus.

Mercer University requires that all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students reside within the campus itself however, 4th year students are not guaranteed campus housing thus, they need to search for off-campus housing. To meet off-campus living expenses, students can take up jobs or apply for work-study positions. Students must select their housing based on their budget. To ensure one’s safety at the apartment the students can always reach out to the local neighbors and ask for all the necessary details as required.

There are certain privileges that the Alumni of Mercer University after graduating such as library privileges where the Alumni can access the university libraries with relevant ID proof, the Alumni are also eligible to join the Sheffield Gym, and can also gain access to free tickets to certain Mercer sporting events such as football, basketball, and baseball games.
