When determining the MET cutoff, the authorities will take into account a number of variables pertaining to the entrance exam and admissions procedure. The authorities will verify a number of significant elements, including the pattern of previous years' cutoffs, the examination's difficulty level, the number of applicants, the total number of seats available for admission, the total number of candidates who passed the MET, and so on.

Hello Vishal,
Manipal is deemed university with the history of more than 60 years to its credit. It is not funded by the government and does not take any grant from the government also. As a result of this, this university does not have any special weight age given to SC ST candidates or those from the OBC category. However the eligibility is kept at 50% which is so low that I am sure all the students aspiring to become engineers would definitely have obtained. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about admission eligibility and all the issues regarding Manipal deemed university. Best wishes to you.
