Since the MET syllabus is similar to 12th standard qualifying examination, the candidates can refer to NCERT books for the preparation. Along with the NCERT books, the candidates can also opt for some of the top recommended books and reference materials. Some of the best books for MET preparation are - Understanding Physics Series by DC Pandey, Higher Algebra by Hall and Knight and Organic Chemistry book by Morrison Boyd. Candidates can also search for other reference materials that will give them more detailed insight on the syllabus.

Yes. Mock tests are considered very essential for the MET preparation process. By solving mock tests, the candidates will have a better understanding of the exam pattern and how the examination will be held. MET mock tests will also help the candidates assess their preparation process and accordingly prepare for the examination. Commonly made mistakes can also be identified so that the same is not made during the exam. Mock tests will also help the candidates boost their time management skills.

Candidates are advised to be very careful while preparing the timetable for MET preparation. Before creating the timetable, the candidates should check the MET syllabus and understand how many topics are to be covered. Accordingly, the topics should be divided well in the timetable so that they syllabus is completed well before the examination.
