Yes, candidates will be allowed to skip questions in MET mock test. However, the candidates will not be allowed to revisit to the section. While attempting the MET mock test, the section can be visited only once. The mock test will have the sections in a fixed manner. There is no provision for the candidates to select/go to a specific section as per their preference.

MET mock test pattern is similar to the entrance examination. The total duration of the mock test is 2 hours and the candidates will have to answer 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Numerical Answer Type NAT Questions. No extra time will be provided to the candidates in the mock test. For every correct answer, 4 marks will be allotted. There is no negative marking in Numerical Answer Type Questions, however, for Multiple Choice Questions, 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

No, candidates do not need to book any slots for MET mock test. The link to access the MET mock test will be available online at manipal.edu. The candidates will be able to access and attempt the mock test as per their availability. No login credentials will be required to access the mock test. Preparing with mock tests are considered a good method since it allows the candidates to understand the environment of the test.

The duration of the MET mock test has been announced. Candidates will be allotted 60 minutes to complete the mock test. A total of 18 questions have to be answered within the allotted duration. Once the time is over, the paper will be automatically submitted and no answers can be marked or submitted. Candidates will have to prepare themselves and boost their time management skills to complete the examination within the allotted duration.

To access the MET mock test smoothly, the candidates are required to meet certain system specifications. For the mock test, the operation system should be Windows 10 (Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions) / Windows 8/8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit) (all editions) / Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) (all editions) and should include an Up-to-date Service pack, device drivers and security patches. The processor should be 2 core (4 vCPU) or above with 2.2 GHz or more clock speed with 2 GB RAM or above. The screen resolution should be 1024 x 768 and above. No, the candidates will not need to be registered to access the MET mock test. The authorities have made the MET mock test available online at manipal.edu for all engineering aspirants, irrespective of their application status with Manipal. To access the mock test of MET, the candidates will have to visit the official website and click on the link. No log in credentials are required.

Yes. MAHE will release the MET mock test online. Candidates will be able to access the MET mock test from the link that will be sent to their registered email address. Through the mock test, the candidates will be able to attempt and understand the pattern of the examination. MET mock test will also let the candidates be prepared for the entrance examination as it will let them practice and become aware about their progress and commonly made mistakes. It is to be noted that the pattern of the mock test will be similar to the MET.

Based on the previous year cutoff trends, the expected MET 2023 cutoff has been prepared. For MIT Manipal, the cutoff ranks is expected to range from 583 to 35385. For SMIT Sikkim, the cutoff can range from 17622 to 35488 and for MU Jaipur, the expected MET cutoff can range from 10787 to 35584. Candidates can check the expected MET cutoffs to know their probable admission status. However, it is to be noted that the cutoffs are indicative and may not match with the official cutoffs that will be released.
