No. Candidates will not receive their MET result through post or email. The authorities will release the MET result link online at manipal.edu. To access the result of MET, the candidates will have to log in using their email ID and password. However, the candidates are also expected to receive their obtained scores in their registered mobile number. The details regarding the MET result will be announced online by the authorities.

MET result will be released online at manipal.edu. To access the MET result, the candidates will have to click on the official link and log in using their registered email ID and password. After the candidates successfully log in, the result of MET will be displayed on the screen. The scores obtained in the entrance examination will be released through the MET result. The authorities will also send the obtained scores to the candidate's registered mobile numbers. Therefore, the candidates are advised to provide the correct contact information during the registration process.

No. The candidates will not be allowed to change/edit their selected MET exam city preferences after it is submitted. Since the authorities will not entertain any requests for change of allotted MET exam centres, the candidates are advised to be careful while making their choices during the registration and slot booking process. MET exam centres will be allotted as per the candidate's preferences and seat availability. There may be chances that the candidates will not be allotted centres in their preferred exam city due to seat availability issues.

The official list of the MET exam cities will be released online at manipal.edu by the authorities. While filling out the MET application form, the candidates will be able to select their choice of exam cities in the order of preference. The authorities will allot the MET exam centres as per the preferred cities and seat availability. However, there are chances that the candidates might not be allotted their first choice due to seat availability issues. Therefore, the candidates are advised to fill out the order of preferences carefully.

No. The authorities do not provide any kind of centre for the MET mock test,   if the students do not have a system that meets the required specifications. In such cases, the candidates are advised to upgrade their system or borrow a system which meets the specifications that have been released by the authorities. If the candidates face any problems in accessing the MET mock test, the candidates are advised to contact the authorities immediately. It is important for the candidates to attempt the mock test so that they are well prepared for the entrance exam.

Candidates should ensure that their systems meet the required specifications. The operating system should be Windows 10 (Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions) / Windows 8/8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit) (all editions) / Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) (all editions) and should be updated with a good security. While most browsers can be used by the candidates to access the MET mock test, the most recommended browser by the authorities is Google Chrome. The candidates are advised to use the latest version of Google Chrome. The updated system specifications for MET mock test will be announced soon. Candidates should check the browser specifications carefully before upgrading their system for the mock test.

MET mock test link will be released online. Candidates will be able to access the MET mock test online at manipal.edu. Since no login credentials will be required to access the mock test of MET, all engineering aspirants will be able to attempt the test to assess their aptitude. The BTech MET mock test will consist of 18 questions that have to be answered within 60 minutes. Candidates will not be able to shuffle between sections and can visit the section only once.

Along with the NCERT books, the candidates are advised to refer to extra study materials to excel in the MET Chemistry section. Some of the important books that the candidates can refer to for preparation are - Inorganic Chemistry by OP Tandon, Organic Chemistry by OP Tandon, Numerical Chemistry by P Bahadur and A Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations by RC Mukherjee. By referring to extra materials, the candidates will have higher chances of understanding the important topics in depth for the examination.

For MET Physics section, the candidates will have to refer to the NCERT books. However, along with the NCERT books, the candidates are also advised to refer to other materials and references. This will allow the candidates to have a higher chance of securing their required scores for admission into the preferred course and campus. Some of the best books for MET Physics are -  Concept of Physics Part 1 by HC Verma, Concept of Physics Part 2 by HC Verma and Understanding Physics by DC Pandey.
