You can opt NIT Warangal, because if you are not having interest in a particular branch, then it is better not to compromise on the college. Moreover, if you opt NIT Warangal, based on your 1st year performance, you will have a chance to slide to core branches.

Hello Rajan,
Going for NITs is a good choice. But, it is mandatory that you need to appear for JEE Mains and have a good score so as to get admission at NITs. Your 12th mark is not considered for admission but you need to have a minimum of 75%.

Plastic Engineering, Metallurgy and Mining Engineering are all great courses. They all have promising careers. I myself am a graduate in Plastic Engineering so I can assure you that there are a lot of opportunities in this branch. As for Metallurgy, it is also a good branch if you can find a good college. NIT do not have lateral entry system. Diploma is considered equivalent to class 12th in NIT, so you have to appear in JEE Mains to get admission in NIT. If you score good rank, then you will get admission there.
