Admission Process
Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (GGSIPU CET).

For taking admission to MFA, the criteria is different among different colleges. It depends on which college you choose the course. Mostly, admission is done on the basis of the entrance and then according to the merit screening and some colleges offer direct admissions too.

Hi Nami,
You may surely pursue an MFA in Painting. Most of the Institutes or Universities in India offering an MFA degree, requires you to have graduated in Fine Arts- BFA.
However, you may check with a couple of these Universities offering the MFA program for graduates in any discipline.
1. Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj - Nagpur University.
2. Sarojini Naidu School of Performing Arts, Fine Arts and Communication - Hyderabad University.
3. College of Arts and Craft – Chennai.
4. Delhi University.
5. Amrita School of Arts and Science – Kochi.
6. University of Mumbai.
7. National Museum Institute of History of Art.

The admission procedure consists of submitting a completed application form (either downloaded or taken from college) , with copies of documents and photographs. A simple assessment is normally done in the college after which admission in confirmed and fees can be paid.
All students who have completed either the BBM or BCOM degree are eligible, subject to Bangalore University regulations.
MFA admissions are full for the year 2013.
