For taking admission to MFA, the criteria is different among different colleges. It depends on which college you choose the course. Mostly, admission is done on the basis of the entrance and then according to the merit screening and some colleges offer direct admissions too.

As an SNU alumni, I can only comment about SNU. SNU has international collaboration with top universities such as Carnegie Melon, Duke and Babson College. I believe there exists an undergrad programme in Mechanical and Computer Science engineering, where you spend two years in SNU and two years in CMU, eventually getting a degree from both universities. Also, every year two to three students get selected and participate in an exchange programme with Duke and spend a semester in Duke, China. Placements are like any other established pvt. University.
