Yes, it is true for MHCET.

There will be no influence of 12th marks on your MHCET 2017 scores.
There is a criteria though in which you have to score at least 50% in your 12th for validation of your MHCET Scores.
If you don't satisfy this condition of more than 50% marks, your MHCET scores are not valid and DTE does not issue a scorecard for your marks.

Check last year's cutoff for this college. You will get an idea about marks.
