The process of MHT CET counselling and seat allotment consists of several processes. Once a seat is allotted to a candidate, he/she has the option of “Accept and Freeze” and “Accept and Float”. If a candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and selects the first option, he/she cannot participate in the next round counselling. If the candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat, he/she can select the second option trough which he/she can participate in the next round counselling with the current seat.

Once a candidate is allotted a seat, he/she need to login to the MHT CET candidate portal and chose the “Accept and Freeze” option. After the option is selected, candidate will be issued a provisional seat allotment letter with details of college and branch with details of seat confirmation fee to be paid. Candidate will need to pay the fees online through credit/debit card or internet banking. Once the fee payment is done, the seat allotment will be confirmed.

MHT CET counselling do have the provision of mock seat allotment. MHT CET Cell will conduct a total of two rounds mock seat allotment where candidates can check which college they get based on the choice filled by them. Candidates after registering for the counselling have to enter their preferred choice of college and branch in the order of preference. The allotment of seats will be made on the basis of All India Rank and choices filled by the candidate.

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell will conduct at total of three rounds counselling and seat allotment process. The exact schedule with the number of rounds will be announced soon on the official website mahacet.org. Currently, the MHT CET counselling registration is open from June 24 to July 3.

There is no fees for MHT CET counselling registration. Candidates can register and participate in the counselling without any fees. However, candidates need to pay the seat confirmation fees once the seat is allotted to them.

Candidates who have not applied/appeared in MHT CET 2024 can participate in the counselling on the basis of their JEE Main 2024 score. Candidates not having MHT CET or JEE Main score can also participate in the counselling based on their class 12 marks.

The registration process for MHT CET counselling is closed. The last date to register was July 10. To register for the counselling, candidates need to visit the official website mahacet.org. The direct link for MHT CET 2023 counselling registration is also available at Shiksha page. Candidates need to use their MHT CET registration number, roll number and date of birth to register for the counselling.

MHT CET counselling started on June 24. Choice filling for round 1 seat allotment is open from July 20 to 22 and result of seat allotment will be announced on July 25. Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling need to register online using the direct link available at Shiksha page or from the official website. The last date to register for MHT CET counselling 2023 was July 10.The round wise schedule for the counselling has been released by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. Candidates who have a valid score in MHT CET 2023 are eligible to participate in the counselling.
