Yes, You can get admission into MICA with 70 percentile in CAT/XAT/GMAT followed by performance in MICAT exam and GE PI round. Admission to MICA is typically done based on competitive exams scores like XAT/ GMAT/ CAT. MICA provides 20 percent weightage to the above entrance exam while selecting candidates for admission. MICA admissions to MBA/ PGDM courses is based on MICAT scores followed by GE and PI. MICAT is conducted in two phases. Currently MICAT Phase 2 is ongoing. MICA cutoff for PGDM in Communications is based on entrance exam scores followed by MICAT exam and then GD and PI. MICA offers full-time residential courses in Management and Communication, including the Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Communication (PGDM-C). Candidates who have appeared for either of one entrance exam including CAT, XAT or GMAT are eligible to appear for MICAT.Going as per last year trends the minimum cutoff required for MICA for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management has been consistent at 80 percentile for both CAT and XAT. MICA Merit List Preparation is a four step process as stated below:Step 1: Psychometric test) is the first step which is a qualifier.Step 2: Those who qualify through Psychometric test , their relative performance of CAT/ XAT/ GMAT entrance exam is considered.
