MICA Cut-off

Yes, You can get admission into MICA with 70 percentile in CAT/XAT/GMAT followed by performance in MICAT exam and GE PI round. Admission to MICA is typically done based on competitive exams scores like XAT/ GMAT/ CAT. MICA provides 20 percent weightage to the above entrance exam while selecting candidates for admission. Aspirants then need to appear and perform well in MICAT written exam to get selected for GE ( group exercise) PI ( personal interview). These section are usually part of the selection process to examine candidate's communication skills, imagination, manageable for the program. Selected candidates are then required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.

MICA cutoff for PGDM in Communications is based on entrance exam scores followed by MICAT exam and then GD and PI. MICA offers full-time residential courses in Management and Communication, including the Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Communication (PGDM-C). Candidates who have appeared for either of one entrance exam including CAT, XAT or GMAT are eligible to appear for MICAT.Going as per last year trends the minimum cutoff required for MICA for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management has been consistent at 80 percentile for both CAT and XAT. Candidates who meet the criteria and score the minimum MICAT cutoff 2024 are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interviews for the final admission at MICA. 

MICA cutoff is prepared on the basis of multiple factors. MICA Merit List Preparation is a four step process as stated below:Step 1: Psychometric test) is the first step which is a qualifier.Step 2: Those who qualify through Psychometric test , their relative performance of CAT/ XAT/ GMAT entrance exam is considered. A minimum cutoff of the best of three scores of any of CAT /XAT total percentile/ GMAT score will considered. Step 3: Those who qualify based on the CAT/XAT/GMAT performance, their MICAT scores will be assessed.Step 4: Candidates who appear in GE and PI must be recommended by majority of the panellists of PI to be considered for the final merit list
