MICAT exam is conducted for admission to PGDM, and PGDMC. Candidates who have completed a bachelor's degree programme in 10+2+3 system are eligible to apply for MICAT. The bachelor's level qualification must be completed in any stream/discipline that is recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).  Candidates appearing for final year exam for the Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.Additionally, candidates must apply and appear for any of the following entrance exams to be eliigble for PGDM/PGDMC admissions to MICA:CAT 2023XAT 2024GMAT (2022 onwards)

Candidates may come across situations when they make mistakes while filling the application form. MICA does not allow duplicate form submission by the candidates. However, candidates may use a different mobile number and email ID to complete the MICAT registration with correct details. Facility foir application form correct is not provided during the MICAT application process. Candidates applying again with the same details may get their candidature rejected.Since there is no form correction facility, candidates must re check all the details before final submission of the MICAT application form.

MICAT registration typically starts in the month of October. If the previous year's schedule trends were to be followed, MICAT application process was commence in the first week of October. However, MICA has released the MICAT 2024 registration in the month of September itself. Candidates are allowed to apply for MICAT-1 until November 2024. Candidates aspiring for admission to MICA PGP courses must abide by the MICAT registration deadline. MICA will not entertain any requests to extend the MICAT application deadline.

Appearing for CAT/XAT/GMAT, is a prerequisite to appear for the MICAT exam. Therefore, candidates who applied and appeared for CAT, XAT or GMAT are also required to apply for MICAT and appear for the exam. Submission of the application form for MICAT requires the candidates to pay the registration fee.Scores in CAT/XAT/GMAT are considered during the selection process. Besides the score in the national level exams, MICAT scores also play a part while shortlisting candidates for admission. Therefore, appearing for MICAT or any national level exam is not an optional stage in the selection process.

No. All candidates have to pay the MICAT application fee in an online mode only. The gatway for MICAT form fee payment can be chosen while paymentg of the application fee. Candidates can use internet banking/credit card/debit card/UPI to pay the MICAT application fee. The authorities will not entertain any requests for offline fee payment. If the candidates face any problems paying the application fee, they must contact the authorities immediately. Failure to pay the application fee before the deadline will lead to the disqualification of the candidature from the MICAT examination process.

Candidates filling the application form for MICAT exam have to pay INR 2,100 as the application fee. MICAT registration fee or application fee remains the same for all the candidates, irrespective of their category. Candidates appearing for both MICAT I and MICAT II hjave to pay the application fee for both the exam phases separately. No concession in the MICAT application fee is given to the candidates applying for both exam phases.The fee mentioned here may or may not change in the upcoming exam sessions. Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad releases the MICAT application form in an online mode. Candidates who wish to apply for the MICAT exam need to apply for the exam online. No other mode is available for the MICAT registration. MICA will not entertain any requests for offline submission of the application form. After submitting the online application form, candidates must take a print out of the MICAT form to retain the same for future references. MICAT application process includes online registration, filling up of MICAT application form (by providing certain details) uploading scanned photograph and signature, payment of MICAT application fee followed by printing the MICAT registration form. Candidates have to complete the MICAT registration online on its official website. No other mode is provided to apply for MICAT exam.Candidates aspiring to appear for both the exam phases of MICAT exam have to apply twice. Additionally, the application fee for the MICAT exam phases will be charged twice.

The PGDM - C, and PGDM are separate courses with 180 and 36 seats, respectively. Both programmes offer the same specializations except that UIP is a compulsory component of PGDM. PGDM - C is more better than PGDM because it will give you more specific information about some specializations and it has more scope in future. Yes, you'll have liberty to choose the subjects of PGDM at some certain levels.
