Hello! Both colleges have a good brand name and are known for their respective specializations i.e. MICA - media and communications, and Sydenham - Finance. However, Sydenham is slightly better due to its excellent ROI and location advantage.

You need to have a graduation degree with reputed university with minimum 50% of marks in graduation and you need to appear an entrance exam for MBA.

Please go through this link to get an idea about the fees at MICA. The fees for 2018-20 are approximately around INR. 18.5 Lacs, although that is subject to change over the years.

Talking about academics, MBA is all about 75% self-learning and 25% academic learning. So, I don't think it really matters, because at the end, you need to study by your own and then your knowledge plays a crucial role. JBIMS has a very experienced faculty members and most of them are big shot industrialist. Before exposure and placement, your interest is important. All 3 institutes are at top in their field JBIMS is majorly known for finance, marketing is also good there. MICA is all about marketing and media & entertainment. I don't have much idea about XIMB. Prepare for and perform well in CAT/XAT/GMAT. MICA has increased the weightage of these exams to 50% now in the entrance part so it will make a lot of difference.
Perform well in MICAT. Work on your communication skills. It is not a pre-requisite, but it definitely helps.
Build your CV to improve your chances. Since you cannot do much about your school and undergraduate now, you can focus on doing internships or courses that make for interesting stories.
