Medical microbiology deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases caused by bacteria, fungi, parasites & viruses, and common infections such as skin/ respiratory/ urinary/ gastrointestinal/ standard, etc. We study the characteristics of pathogens, the mode of infection, and the growth of microorganisms in humans.
