After B.Sc in microbiology, you can work as:
*Biomedical scientist, Biotechnologist, Healthcare scientist, immunology. M.Sc. Degree can be selected in subjects of Clinical Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology, or Medical Microbiology. PG Diploma in Microbiology can be pursued. MCA is a good option for candidates interested in software field. You can try for MBA or MFA if you are interested to have a job in management.

Both courses have their own importance. Bachelors in Microbiology particularly focuses on specific subjects like microbiology, biochemistry etc. Whereas Bachelor's in biotechnology covers number of fields like food biotechnology, environmental biotechnology, genetic engineering, plant biotechnology, animal biotechnology, Analytical techniques & bioinformatics etc. Therefore, the job opportunities are more after B.Sc. In Biotechnology. Hence, to gain expertise in such emerging field, one must remain updated and have theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the subjects. Hi,
Eligible to do M.Sc in microbiology even after doing B.Sc in Zoology. For that, you have to clear the entrance exams and you will get the required course but it also depends upon seat availability and your marks scored. Thank you.
