As the competition is getting harder, so 60 - 65% is the minimum. Well, if you want to do microbiology honors then it depends on the college. A good college will require a higher percentage in chemistry and biology for admission.

The route to M.Sc. Microbiology course is through entrance exam. The entrance tests for this course are IISc Entrance Exam, Goa University Microbiology Entrance Exam, Guru Nanak Dev University M.Sc Microbiology Entrance Exam, Osmania University Microbiology Entrance Exam and Lovely Professional University Microbiology Entrance Exam. Universities accept the scores of these tests for selection of candidates. A merit list is prepared on the basis of scores in aforementioned tests. Candidates who have completed B.Sc in any stream of Science such as Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physiology, Microbiology or an equivalent degree in a Science stream from a recognized board are eligible for M.Sc Microbiology. Thanks.
