Admissions to the MSc microbiology course will begin only after the declaration of the B.Sc. Degree results of the University of Mumbai sometime in the second or third week of June.
All candidates applying for admission are expected to apply through the online application system on the homepage of the websitewww.xaviers.edu.
Eligibility criteria:A candidate for being eligible for admission to the M.Sc. Degree in Microbiology should have passed the B.Sc. (Three year integrated course) degree examination of Mumbai University with at least seven units (i.e. minimum required for majoring in a subject) in MicrobiologyORB.Sc. Microbiology f

It is a discipline which combines Biology and Chemistry for investigation of the living system and their relationship to the environment. The duration of this course is 2 years divided into four semesters. For M.Sc Microbiology, the average tuition fee ranges from INR 50,000 to INR 3 lakhs in most of the M.Sc.
