I found your question very interesting, Go for Microbiology. It will give you more options in future when you start searching for jobs. Biotechnology will narrow down your future path and it will be difficult to get good job after post graduation. While microbiology gives you wider prospects in government jobs specially. If You will go through recent BIS Recruitment advertisement, it has vacancies for microbio field but not for biotech. There are many jobs where biotechnology graduates cant apply but microbiologist can. And where Biotechnology can apply microbiologist also have options in the same. It depends totally on you that which field you want to join. As you have already done B.Sc. In biotechnology, so it will be better if you join MBA programme. Your opportunity will increase after MBA. Best of luck.
