B.Sc zoology is a traditional stream. B.Sc microbiology is a better option and you can also look for other future prospects.

Hi,
M.Sc degree in microbiology offers good opportunities in the field of agricultural firms, food processing firms and pharmaceutical firms etc
If I talk about Maharashtra than - An entry-level position as Assistant Medical Superintendent could command between Rs. 40,000-50,000 and then go up to Rs. 50,000-55,000 as Deputy Medical Superintendents, then close to Rs. 1 Lakh as Medical Superintendent.

You must have done physics and chemistry too in class 12th as a Science student. B.Sc or M.Sc is not possible without it.So please share your concern in detail.

Being a M.Sc in Microbiology pass out you have two main defined disciplines to pursue a career I.e. Education and Research. With a M.Sc degree you can apply to teach in various institutions or you may write to qualify NET for the posts of lectureship.
Research is another huge domain that you may enter but for this one would require a doctoral program in a specific topic based on your interest.
