Hello Sudhakara,
This Institute has grand name, but does it really have the wherewithal? Various pointers are not very satisfactory. I would advise you to give it a miss. Also there was news recently that UGC has asked all distance education providers to desist from conducting courses that require extensive practicals.

Hello Sudhakara,
It's very nice to know that you want to join mining engineering after having already done engineering once. So you are aware of entrance exams and eligibilities. Mist state govt's have upper age limit. But perhaps deemed universities do not. You can choose one of these to get admission.

Hello Arijit,
It's very nice to think of career in mining. But presently, one needs 12th science to be eligible to get admission in any of the engineering courses. Therefore, I am afraid that you will have to think of a different career.

Yes, you're eligible for GATE. As long as your age is below 25, you also get to apply for the various PSU's via GATE. If not, then you can use the GATE score elsewhere to your advantage.

It's not a good idea considering the wide range of opportunities in mechanical engineering. You can work in many fields like thermal, fluid mechanics, automobile, design if you stick with the mechanical branch.
