Mining Engineer have lots of opportunities in the field of Consulting, QA and Designing apart from Site Job or Project Management job in mines. There are huge demand for Mining Engineer in both private as well as PSU sector. Some of the top companies for Mining Engineers are BHP Billiton, RIO Tinto, Glen Core who payout high salaries. A fresher in India can easily earn salary between 20k to 50k also oppertunite to get PSU jobs with companies like MDMC and COL.

Corresponding courses in Engineering are not considered by private companies or PSU. AICTE also not recognise these type of degrees.
