Well it is famous for a few things. It is very affordable and has a wide range of programs to offer to students. It has a strong regional ranking as well and high graduate success rate too. Adding to this the university has students from all around the world so diversity is also the reason why students choose this university.

Well it has many reasons. First and the foremost is high acceptance rate which is 77%. MSU is not situated in a big city so for Indian students accommodation is less and so are other expenses. Part-time jobs are also available and students end up saving some bucks.  There is high graduate success rate of with 94% of students employed and over 12% students continuing education. Moreover it is a state university so fee is also not that much compared to private universities and colleges adding to the reasons why Indian students choose to study here.

Above 80% or 8 CGPA. However most of the scholarships at MSU are not specific to grades only they have other criterions. So please check your scholarship on MSU’s scholarship finder or get in touch with the international admissions department regarding more knowledge and insights about the same.

Yes it is relatively easily to get into this university as the acceptance rate is pretty high, it is 77% to be precise and if you are applying for a UG programme here, 65-75% in CBSE is well enough also that the SAT’s are optional so I think that it can not be more easy. IELTS requirement is also comparatively low which is 5.5 and above so yes an average Indian student can definitely join MSU if he/she has adequate funds and documents.

Yes, undisputedly there are students from other countries studying in MSU. The university does claim that the International students are from around 100 countries however not to speak of the facts, I can possibly say that as per my observation there are students from all across the world all the 7 continents. The university is very diverse in terms of geographical distribution of students or even the male female student ratio.

I’ve seen most of the fellow Indian students take up a part-time job either in Mac-D or KFC as a crew member. But yes, It’s again very specific to where  the Individual interests lie. From being a cashier to book-keeper I have seen students particularly of Indian origin take up multiple roles. So, yes generally it is either the food industry or retail and entertainment where the Indian students find solace in their part time work.

I won’t dig dive deep into statistics here as I don’t have any access to data. However as per my observation, I believe that most of the students here take up courses related to computer Science or business. CS and Data analytics is quite popular here at MSU. Our university is also good for research so yes these fields are quite popular here.
