The cutoff marks required for B.Tech can vary depending on the university, the specific program, and the entrance exam. The cutoff marks for admission to B.Tech programs in top universities can be higher than 60% in Class 12th or equivalent examination. For example, the cutoff marks for B.Tech admission in NITs can vary, and candidates must know the cutoffs to be aware of the ranks required for admission.Similarly, the cutoff marks for IITs for B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering can vary, and the higher the cutoff marks, the higher the chance of admission. For eg 180+ marks gets admission in some of the collleges like DTU, NSUT etc.
