It depends on the course in which the student is interested. Admission to various courses such as MBA, BTech, etc. is done based on the scores obtained in various entrance exams. Admission to the BTech course at MIT Group of Institutes (Mahakal), Ujjain is open currently, while, the admissions to other courses have not been started yet.

Overall, food quality in the MIT Group of Institutes (Mahakal) at Ujjain is said to be good. Reviews from students suggest the food served in hostel mess is tasty and prepared well. The campus also has facilities such as gym and exclusive boy hostel, students note experience in general is good. But some feel that food sometimes does lack variety.
