Almost 80% of the students are placed and MITSOB is aiming to reach 100%. Many companies are yet to visit our campus for recruitment as the placement process is still under progression.

You can apply to appear at any of the following city for PI and further admission rounds:
Patna - 3rd May, 2016
Ranchi - 4th May, 2016
Ahmadabad - 8th May, 2016
Udaipur - 9th May, 2016
Delhi - 16th May, 2016
Jaipur - 17th May, 2016
Raipur - 19th May, 2016
Nagpur - 20th May, 2016
Or if Pune is more convenient for you to reach than you can call the admission office to fix a date to appear at MITSOB for the admission rounds.

Students of all the specialization gets equal opportunities but the highest placement for the current batch was the student of marketing. At MITSOB they only have one batch every year, companies start to come for placements from the month of September but every student eligible for the profile are allowed to participate in the placement rounds. It depends on the capability of the student to clear the rounds and get the placement. And many MNC do come in between September and December like Tata Technologies, Aditya Birla, Deloitte etc but also many companies like Markets and Markets, Kellogs, ITC, etc come in month from Janu

Yes you should definitely go for MITSOB if you are serious about your academics. MIT SOB has a case based padegogy and believes in conceptual studies and not contextual studies. Also faculty here is highly qualified with good industrial experience. Also there are different clubs for extra curricular activities.

Yes, You can apply at MITSOB with your CET score.
But entrance exam result is only one criteria for admission process. Entire evaluation of admission process comprises of:
- Score obtained by candidate at CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/CET exams,
- Performance at Extempore Talk (Including written essay),
- Performance at Personal Interview,
- Past Academic Record (10th & 12th level),
- Work Experience (if any) after graduation of at least 1 year or more. Hope that answers your question.

Minimum package for the current batch is 2.5 lacs p.a. but the average package is about 4 lacs p.a.

MITSOB provides a PGDM Degree while MITSOM gives you MBA from Pune University. Basics of management education are the same . PGDM syllabus is considered much more contemporary and industry oriented, subject to the college one chooses, as compared to MBA curriculum. PGDM is slowly gaining momentum on better career prospects than a University MBA degree , syllabus for which is generally reviewed every 5 yrs. Here MITSOB offers PGDM which is based On Case Method Pedagogy, where cases is based on passed industrial scenario which makes you more competent for the industries. Wish Y

Both the streams have equally great opportunities once you complete your masters. I would suggest you choose specialization based on interest rather than scope because your choice will determine your future line of work. If you do what you like to do you have better chance getting work in that particular field. If you are ready to go on field or work in the market, choose marketing and if you comfortable with accounting or financal analysis choose finance.
