Hello Ankit,
Yes you should definitely go for MITSOB if you are serious about your academics. MIT SOB has a case based padegogy and believes in conceptual studies and not contextual studies. Also faculty here is highly qualified with good industrial experience. Also there are different clubs for extra curricular activities.

MITSOB provides a PGDM Degree while MITSOM gives you MBA from Pune University. Basics of management education are the same . PGDM syllabus is considered much more contemporary and industry oriented, subject to the college one chooses, as compared to MBA curriculum. PGDM is slowly gaining momentum on better career prospects than a University MBA degree , syllabus for which is generally reviewed every 5 yrs. Hello Imtiyaz,
Both the streams have equally great opportunities once you complete your masters. I would suggest you choose specialization based on interest rather than scope because your choice will determine your future line of work. If you do what you like to do you have better chance getting work in that particular field. If you are ready to go on field or work in the market, choose marketing and if you comfortable with accounting or financal analysis choose finance.
Hope this will help you.
