Mithibai College has removed the entrance exam requirement for admission to UG courses starting in the 2024-25 academic year. Admission will now be based solely on the marks secured in the Class 12 examination. Previously, Mithibai College used to offer admission to UG courses through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). However, they have opted out of CUET UG 2024 as the exam schedule does not align with the timeline followed by Mumbai colleges. The official notice from Mithibai College states that admission to all first-year UG programs, including BA, BCom, BSc, and others, will be based on the Class 12 board exam marks only, and not CUET scores.

A valid entrance exam for Mithibai College admission is the CUET. On the other hand, applicants may also be accepted without CUET results. Students who fulfil the requirements related to the course can apply online via the official website for admission to the course. The distribution of seats is done in accordance with the specific course's selection criteria. After registering for the CUET, candidates must take the exam in the topic of their choosing and receive a passing grade. Applicants to Mithibai College's BSc curriculum must pass the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers this nationwide entrance exam, which is required in order to be admitted to undergraduate programmes offered by participating institutions. Therefore, candidates must register for the CUET UG exam and receive a valid score before enrolling to Mithibai College for the BSc programme. The CUET exam determines admission to Mithibai College's undergraduate programmes, which include BA, BMM, B.Sc., B.Com, BMS, and B.Sc (Hons.) in a variety of specialisations.
