Admission to Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur's Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme is extremely competitive, with a JEE Main rank of 5228. In 2024, MNIT Jaipur's CSE closing rank for the General category under the open quota was roughly 4774. However because the cutoffs differ greatly by category your prospects may rise if you fall into a reserved category (such as EWS, OBC, SC or ST). For example the closing rank for EWS was around 883 and the OBC category was 1989. The institute has a good placement record. During 2024 placements, 540 UG and 186 PG students were placed. Earlier, 657 UG and 274 PG students were placed during the 2023 drive.
