Architecture is required for admissions to 1st year of 5 years B.Arch. degree course at all institutes/ schools/colleges of Architecture in India (including Govt., Govt.- aided, Private Unaided, University/Depts., Deemed Universities, etc.), for Bachelors degree in Architecture. in my opinion if you want to get admit in best reputed university for B.arch then your eyes must be stop at Chandigarh University,Mohali,Punjab .This is best for you because it is the only place to be successful with highly ranked degree as well as provides best placement

You have not made very clear as to whether you have already obtained admission or not but irrespective of this, in the life, we all have to face multiple interviews at multiple places for multiple reasons. My sincere advice to you is not to get bogged down by the negative thoughts of failing in the the interview. Passing or failing are two sides of the same coin. There are enough tricks in the market which can be learnt as to how to crack an interview for job.
